Dear Experts,

We have 2 production database, my Backup procedure as like below

Backup Method. Backup Location
---------------------------- -------------------
1.daily Full database dump Database Machine itself
2.daily Hot-backup Database Machine itself
3.weekly Rman Backup Database Machine itself

all the above 3 backup files & archive are stored in a location /u07 in diffrenet Folders

daily i m storing full /u07 to a tape
daily i m changing the tape, then next week i m using same tape in round robin corresponding day.

more than that i keep the Dump file to another IP=30 also.
i m copying that hot backup and rman backup weekly twise in the IP 30

monthly and yearly also keeping as in Dump and in seperate tape backup also

please suggest is the enough or still any suggestion.

Where is the (daily) backup of archived logs?
DataPump is NOT a part of backup strategy.

It is not ok as you don't backup the archived logs.

I believe the weekly RMAN backup is level0 backup. If yes then you can schedule a level1 backup daily.
It wil complete the backup strategy and you would be able to do a recovery with RMAN backup when required.

Not at all if you don't backup the archived logs (how many times I said this in this topic?).
