Hi,

I have Oracle 9i on Windows running Primary and Logical Standby on 2 different machines.

Everthing was working fine for couple of days since its setup.

We had to stop shipping archive logs to standby.
Did this by setting: LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_STATE_2=DEFER, on Primary DB.

Wanted to Sync up StandBy DB with Primary DB, so
1.Copied all the archive logs from primary to standby (FAL would take care of it, but dint want to ENABLE it on Primary DB. We were having connectivity issues between Primary and Standby)
2.Registered the archive logs in Standby.
3.Stopped/Started the SQL Apply on Standby.
4.When queried the APPLIED_SCN from DBA_LOGSTDBY_PROGRESS,
it's not moving forward to synch up with NEWEST_SCN.
5.Checked the DBA_LOGSTDBY_EVENTS for any errors but couldn't find any.
6.One change made on LOGICAL STANDBY since it had been working fine was changed it from ARCHIVELOG mode to NOARCHIVELOG mode.
7.No errors in Alert log.

What else can be checked? And how to make SQL Apply work?

Thanks,
Madhuri
