Dear All,

We got a database of around 100GB size which we like to move to another server. Also we want to put the database in new server with a new name. My consideration is to create a template of the database using DBCA and then move the template to new server with oracle 11G installed and invoke dbca to select the template. Change the database name during installation.

what are the other ways to accomplish this fast? I can think of RMAN or running the datapump job for taking export of the full database. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.
