[Oracle 9i] EXP not initialized properly..HELP!! [message #420076]

Hi, guys
Just now when I did a manual backup using EXP.exe in oracle, the application can not start but threw the error that "application is not initialized properly,.. error 0000022 something"
Anyone knows of the problem?

Not a real backup

Thanks for reply.
I dont understand what exactly means by a "real backup", as I am very blur at the moment, (I am new to Oracle).
What I did is to export a schema into a .dmp file which can be imported later, and I think this is a backup Razz

I have searched google for solutions of course, but no luck to resolve that, wonder whether anyone here ever encounter the same problem?

How can anyone reproduce "same problem"?
You have not shown what you have or what you did or EXACT response

It is data backup not database backup.
So if your database failed you can't recover your data just can restore them at the point you export.
