Hello,

I have installed Oracle 11i on Windows 2003 server machine for my organization. People can access it using Oracle SQLDeveloper.

We also have a Linux server running where everyone has the server account.

My question is what should I need to do so that students can access oracle from their linux account which is installed on Oracle.

Students use putty to access the linux server.

hostname : oracle.**.@#%.@#$
port : 1521

Why do they need to access it?
