I ran below
RMAN> DELETE BACKUPPIECE 1;

Cause the backuppiece 1 had become obsolete. Is there any way to run this by explicitly stating that this is a obsolete backupset/piece ?

ie. something like
delete obsolete backuppiece 1;


and maybe if its not obsolete RMAN would prompt. eg. are you sure you want to delete this non-Obsolete backup ?
