Hi,

I want to take backups of archive logs which were older than 2 days, and delete the all archive logs after completion of backups which are older than 2 days.

I want to run the below command:-
--------
RMAN> backup format '####' archivelog until time 'sysdate -2' delete input;

Is it a correct command?

Please help.

The backups cpmpleted successfully but the archive files that is more than 2 days old still residing at the filesystems.
