When running RMAN to "backup full database" other users get locked out. I noticed (by using the DISPLAY STATUS command)several processes had a state of WAITW (waiting for an Oracle worker TCB).
any ideas where to look next ?
Shouldn't we be able to backup our instance whilst running other work ?
