Hello All,
I'm seeing the oracle documents related to Backup and Recovery . There I was reading for the recovery of Control file.
I just want to know what is the meaning behind the below statements:
1. Alter database recover automatic using backup controlfile until cancel;
2. recover database using backup controlfile until cancel;
3. Alter database open resetlogs ;
Can somebody help me on this.

I think if you are reading a book on these statements they are explained.
Otherwise you can easily refer to Oracle documentation.
