Hi,
I have read that OSB Express is bundled with Oracle 10g. How can I start using/configuring OSB Express with 10g or use obtool if it already comes with the database?

Regards,
Zaff

OSB Express isn't bundled with Oracle 10g, however it can be downloaded and install free of charge if you are using it on one server and one tape drive.

Check OSB documentation for Install Guides.

Thanks for the confirmation.
I initially thought the same thing that OSB Express had to be installed separately. But then I read the OSB Express datasheet, which seems to suggest that OSB Express is “bundled with the Oracle Database”:

http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/secure-backup/pdf/OSB-XE_10.2_Datasheet.pdf

I guess what that could mean is that it’s free to use with the database.

I can see where that is definitely misleading. However, unless they have changed the downloads from OTN, I've yet to see any 10g database software with OSB bundled with it.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Oracle documentation !
