Archive logs are not deleted on physical standby [message #335922]

Hello,

The problem is that archive logs are deleted on standby server after are applied.

Standby's V$ARCHIVED_LOG says that files are applied but not deleted. Please suggest how to delete applied logs automatically?

Hello all,

Thank you for your replies Smile

I found out that oracle user and group id's are different at primary and standby. I guess that primary are not able to delete archivelogs with different user and group id. Does it make sense?
