Hi,
Is there a way to take backup if one of my archivelog sequence is missing thro' RMAN, say my seq no. 1 to 100 , in that 88 is missing. is there any command to do that

Yes you can take backup but you have to be aware that:
- you can't use them to recover after sequence 88
- you have to take a new backup of files now if you want to recover till now or a future date.

The option is "skip inaccessible".
