Hi,

Oracle version - 10.2.0
Os - Windows2000 server

I am trying to configure ASM in my desktop for practicing.
I have 80GB hardisk.i have configured 30 GB for Oracle in seperate drive (E:),and 10 GB as unpartitioned disk for ASM.

I tried to configure disk for ASM, but i cant use the partitioned filesystem disk or RAW partition disk for creating diskgroups.

Should the disk be raw partition or shall i create it as NTFS file system?
Or
please give me some documents about how to configure disks for ASM.

should i need to anything more? .. please advice...

TIA,
