How can i make complete database backup in oracle 8i but i am not want to execute exp command can we backup database,any users with any other method if possible then please reply

RMAN.

By the way, exp is NOT a backupi strategy, good thing you don't want to use it for your backups.

RMAN is a tool released with each Oracle version, so you already have it.
You can find the documentation on http://tahiti.oracle.com

Dear Michel i trace the rman command from bin folder but i do not know how to make backup and restore kindly send me some syntex for create backup and restore backup
