we crashed our database and we have no backups. all we have is the system.dbf file and the data files.

is it possible to recover data from these if we create a new database and somewhat replace the system file and then move the data files to where they are supposed to be.

You can't just move datafiles around to different databases.

What do you mean when you say "you crashed your database"? What errors are you getting?
