hi!
I have a oracle application with 11.5.10.2 on rhel 3 with 9.2.0.8.
I want to create a physical standby for this, do I, have to create the replica of the applcations as well? or is it possible to have a standby database with just a single application. Thank you .

In order to provide fault tolerance for the app, you'll have to have it installed somewhere else too.

Personally, I don't know the details of 11i Oracle Apps, but you may want to check Note:356433.1.
