Dear All,

i have impoteded .dmp file using following command

imp system/manager file=abc.dmp fromuser = system touser=abc

but it is giving error
IMP-00010: not a valid export file, header failed verification

what was the problem ?

Did you, by any chance, FTP it using ASCII instead of BINARY mode?
